Meet the Staff

The founder of Cecil Aero Service. At age 18, Roger went to Embry Riddle School of Aeronautics and earned his A&P. He was immediately hired at Delta Airlines where he had a very successful career on the flight line for 35 years. In 1978, Roger bought a Cessna 150 to learn to fly. He enjoyed working on his 150 and after hitting it off with a local IA during his owner-assisted annual inspection, he began working with the IA regularly. In June of 1979 Roger earned his IA and opened Hangar 6 Aero the following year based at New Castle Airport. In 1992 he sold Hangar 6 Aero Service, moved to Claremont Airport and years later opened Cecil Aero Service. His tremendous lifelong career in aviation has made him a true expert in almost all aspects of GA maintenance.

The current owner of Cecil Aero Service. Jeremy started working as an apprentice under his grandfather, Roger, in 2007 when he was 15. He worked every year since either part time or full time. He earned his A&P in 2015 and his private pilot in 2017. Jeremy went to the corporate world working for Fly Advanced and Penske Jet but returned to his roots back at Cecil Aero and earned his IA. Having spent half of his living years in the aviation industry, he plans to carry on the next generation of Cecil Aero.

After working for AstraZeneca in the maintenance department for 30 years, Stan retired and came to work for Cecil Aero. In the almost 12 years Stan has been at Cecil Aero, he has earned his A&P and IA license. Nicknamed “the Needle” by a customer because of his tenacious and precise trouble-shooting of stubborn squawks.

Having retired from a lifelong career as an aviator, he is now working towards his A&P. Dale’s 30,000+ flight hours has allowed him to accrue a vast amount of knowledge and experience. Some of his ratings include ATP, flight engineer in turbo jets, 737 type, Learjet type, airbus type, SA226 type, 5000+ flight instructing hours, and commuter airlines. Dale has been flying since he was 13. Its hard to name an airport he hasn’t flown to! He’s just an extraordinary wealth of aviation information and experiences.
